British ambassador to Yemen urge expedited formation of new cabinet

The British Ambassador to Yemen Abda Sharif and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative have agreed on the importance of having a new Yemeni international recognized government to foster strong cooperation for economic stability and recovery.

In a post on her account on the “X” platform, Sharif stated that both parties discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in supporting Yemen’s economic priorities.

The call to accelerate the announcement of the government during the British Ambassador’s meeting highlight that the delay has become unjustifiable.

It is worth noting that the new Prime Minister-designate, Shaae Al-Zandani, has taken approximately 20 days since his appointment as Prime Minister to present his government formation as soon as possible.
